- Open your page, view the source (Ctrl/Cmd + U) and copy it, or copy just your JSON-LD.
- Paste it into the box.
- Click Validate schema to see each block, its type and any errors or warnings.
- Fix errors first, then confirm with Google's Rich Results Test.
Common schema mistakes
The most common problems are invalid JSON (a missing comma or quote), a missing @context or @type, and missing properties that Google requires for a rich result, such as a Product without offers, reviews or ratings, or an Event without a start date.
This validator checks syntax and the key required and recommended fields for common types. It does not replace Google's Rich Results Test, which also checks eligibility against live policies, but it catches most mistakes instantly.
Does it support microdata or RDFa?
No. It checks JSON-LD, the format Google recommends.
What is the difference between an error and a warning?
Errors break the markup or a required field for rich results. Warnings are recommended fields that add detail.
Can it check a live URL?
Not yet. Paste the page source for now.
